Amy Broughton
Amy began her career in medical education in 1985 at the Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Upon leaving Children’s in 1998, she acquired the position of Medical Education Supervisor at Franciscan Medical Center for the Family Practice Residency. In 2000, she became the Residency Coordinator for the Orthopedic Residency at Miami Valley Hospital and later worked for the Department of Surgery and Trauma. She has been the Program Coordinator for the General Surgery Residency at Jewish Hospital since the fall of 2003. Amy is an active member of the Association for Residency Coordinators through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
She is the mother of five, grandmother of two, and recently added an English Springer Spaniel puppy to their empty nest. Her hobbies include cake decorating, arts and crafts, antiquing and traveling.
