Amy Broughton

Amy Broughton is a native of Dayton, Ohio. She began her career in health care in 1985, at the Children's Medical Center in Dayton. She worked in continuing medical education, infectious disease, and nephrology for several years before accepting the medical education supervisor position at the Franciscan Medical Center. She furthered her training in 2000 when she went to Miami Valley Hospital to work as an education coordinator for the busy department of orthopedics and then as a secretary for the department of surgery and trauma, performing a high level of administrative support for five trauma surgeons.

Amy has recently relocated to the Cincinnati area and joined the department of surgery at Jewish Hospital in 2003. She is a mother of five and her hobbies include arts and crafts and antiquing.
