Cari Ann Ogg, MD
Cari Ann Ogg, MD is a native of Lucasville, Ohio having graduated
from Valley High School in 1993. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with
a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Wilmington College, Wilmington,
Ohio, where she was a member of the Green Key Honor Society. She attended
medical school in Dayton, Ohio, at Wright State University School of
Medicine where she received the Georganne O. Finley Scholarship. Dr.
Ogg completed a five-year general surgery residency at The Jewish Hospital
in Cincinnati, Ohio. During that time, she received the Joel A. Essig,
MD Award and the 16th Annual Ronald H. Fegelman, MD Memorial Lectureship
Award.
Dr. Ogg is an associate member of the American College of Surgeons.
She is a member of the Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons,
Association of Women Surgeons, American College of Surgeons Ohio Chapter,
and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Ogg joined Cincinnati General
Surgeons, Inc. She accepted the position of Associate Program Director
for the general surgical residency program at The Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Ogg will be focusing her efforts on research development and resident
academics.
When not working, she enjoys hiking the National Parks and relaxing
with her fiancé, Thomas Husted, MD.
