WelcomeThe Jewish Hospital Breast Center When breast cancer is found early, the five-year survival rate is 98 percent. That is why the Jewish Hospital Breast Center is dedicated to providing women with the best possible access to the most sophisticated screening and diagnosis available for breast cancer. Last year, more than 36,000 mammograms and diagnostic breast exams were completed for women in the Breast Center (located in the Medical Office Building across the street from The Jewish Hospital at 4750 E. Galbraith Road, Suite 111), the main Jewish Hospital, or in one of our two Mobile Mammography Units.
- Elizabeth Weaver, M.D., Whichever location you choose, you will be assured of the highest level of care, compassion and service. The Breast Center, the hospital and the mobile mammography units all use the same FDA and MQSA approved equipment. Our highly experienced radiology technologists regularly rotate between the mobile and stationary units. All mammograms are read by our team of board-certified radiologists and then double-checked by the R2 ImageChecker, a cutting edge computer aided detection system. The Breast Center offers free parking just outside the front door, a comfortable setting with easy registration, a separate gowned waiting area, and four state-of-the-art mammography suites. Most importantly, the Jewish Hospital Breast Center has one of the region’s most experienced and dedicated mammography staffs, ready to answer your questions. In addition to providing screening and diagnostic mammograms, the Breast Center also provides a number of other advanced diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound and MRI diagnosis, guided minimally invasive breast biopsies, and DEXA scans that help to detect osteoporosis.
